Weatherproof Your Home… Against the Storms of Life: (Women’s Seminar/Weekend Retreat): Many women have unresolved issues from their past that contribute to the dysfunction in their homes today. Based on her published 12-week bible study by the same name (available on Amazon.com), Donna teaches biblical principles that allow women to identify beliefs, attitudes and behaviors that do not line up with the truth of God’s Word. These messages will provide hope and healing for women of all ages, both single and married, for those who want to prepare for their future families, or perhaps undo the damage of the past.
Revelation: A Study of End-Time Events (Women’s One-Day Seminar): God's Word is a treasure – and we are on a treasure hunt! Would you read a great book and not read the last chapter? No way! Based on Donna’s 12-week published Bible study by the same name (available on Amazon.com), this seminar serves as an introduction to the often-avoided book of Revelation in order to dispel the fears, confusion and misconceptions…and make women hungry for more!
Families in Crisis Workshop: This two-hour workshop begins with a 45-minute teaching in which Donna presents biblical principles showing that the breakdown of the family is rooted in rebellion against God-ordained authority. Secular terms such as addiction and co-dependency are defined according to God’s Word. Donna speaks from personal experience, having a family history of alcoholism. The teaching is followed by a breakout into small groups for discussion of the provided questions, and concludes with a Gospel presentation. This is a wonderful event for a Saturday morning.
God’s Grace: For Real & For Always: This 3-part seminar begins with “A Testimony of God’s Grace,” as Donna shares how God has moved in her own life to bring her to salvation and to produce the transformation He promises in His Word. The second message, “God’s Grace & The Power of the Cross,” is the centerpiece of the seminar and can stand alone as a single message. The scriptural basis of God’s grace provided only through the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ is combined with a personal application for our lives. The final message is “By Grace: Living in the Sisterhood.” It begins with Donna re-visiting a women’s mission trip to Appalachia and then highlights the blessing of our sisterhood in Christ.
The Work of the Holy Spirit: Here Comes the Bride! A women’s Bible workshop. Is the Holy Spirit a complete mystery to you? Is His work in our midst something you long to know more of? We’ll examine the role of the Holy Spirit in preparing the Church as the Bride of Jesus Christ. The Bride of Christ is a living organism, consisting of all people who have trusted in Jesus Christ alone for eternal life, from the birth of the Church at Pentecost until the Rapture. We’ll look to God’s Word to learn the basis for what we call the Rapture of the Church as an event that is distinct from the Second Coming of Christ. And, we’ll examine ourselves for the changes that will need to be made in our hearts and lives, as we are led by the Holy Spirit Himself.
