From the time I came to faith in Christ, I had a passion for God’s Word and began teaching women’s Bible studies. I saw myself as a mature Christian woman, but rather than putting God’s Word into practice in my own life, I blamed others for the many problems I encountered.

It wasn’t until my mid-forties that I realized my relationship with God was all about me, and I became desperate enough to face the truth about myself. This began the transformational work of God in my life that I now have the privilege of sharing with other women.

In the summer of 2001, I wrote the women’s Bible study course entitled Weatherproof Your Home…Against the Storms of Life. I first presented this teaching in a friend’s home, with 18 married and unmarried women whose ages ranged from 25 to 50, and who came from different denominational backgrounds.

In 2011, the Weatherproof course was published in paperback and e-book formats. (The original publisher went out of business and the current copy of the book was re-published in 2014 by Redemption Press). I’ve also provided videos of the 12 lessons, available on YouTube, to enhance your study of the book.

In another labor of love, I’ve also written a 12-week Bible study, Revelation: A Study of End-Time Events, in order to dispel the fears, confusion, and misconceptions about this often-avoided “final chapter” of God’s Word.

The Lord has moved on my behalf and blessed me with 50 years of marriage to my husband Larry. We have two grown children—our son Jesse, who is a devoted father of one daughter, and our daughter Julie who, along with her husband Bryan, are the wonderful parents of four daughters—and we now have a great-granddaughter!
